Meet The Coaches of Mentor Youth Lacrosse
Ed Bolden - Head Coach Boys 7/8
Ed played lacrosse for Mentor throughout his high school career. He coached youth lacrosse for three years before accepting the high school coaching position at Mentor High School in 2010. He returned to the youth lacrosse program in 2015 and assumed the head coach of the middle school boys teams in 2016. Ed has also coached youth hockey through Mentor as well as Riverside. We are glad to have him back!
Adam Cervenka - Head Coach Girls 7/8
Adam played lacrosse for Mentor High School as well as throughout his college career. He coached boys lacrosse for Mentor and then assumed a coaching position for Mentor with the girls program. This year marks Adam's 11th year coaching the girls youth/middle school program.
Dawn Udovicic - Head Coach Girls 5/6
Dawn played girls lacrosse in high school. She assisted with Mentor Youth Lacrosse four years prior to becoming the head girls 3-6 coach in 2015.
Henry Schenk- Head Coach Boys 5/6
Robert MacKinlay - Head Coach Boys 3/4
Robert Joined our coaching staff as head coach for the Boys 3/4 team in 2017. He brings lacrosse knowledge to the program both as a player and as a coach. Robert grew up playing lacrosse in Canada and continued to play Division 1 Lacrosse at Mercyhurst College. He began coaching sports at the age of 18, which not only shows his love of sports but also his desire to use his experience to teach young boys the skills they need to become successful lacrosse players. We are happy to have him on board.
